Beth Fabian received a baccalaureate degree from Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa, an RN from the Portsmouth General Hospital School of Nursing, and is a Certified Registered Nurse Intravenous (CRNI). Beth has worked as a staff nurse, educator, department director, and as an associated director of nursing. Beth currently works as Vice President, Clinical Services for IVonyx, a national home infusion company. She has years of experience in emergency and critical care and many years in infusion therapy. Beth is active in the Intravenous Nurses Society, serving in both local and national positions. She served on the national Standards of Practice Committee, which completed the 1998 revision of the Intravenous Nursing Standards of Practice. Beth has been published in infusion therapy journals and textbooks on subjects including peripheral and central venous therapy. She has lectured nationally and internationally on many topics relative to infusion therapy.
