Adoption is a worldwide practice—most people know someone who has been adopted, has adopted a child, or has relinquished a child for adoption. Healthcare professionals will have contact with patients who have a connection to adoption. This video abstract describes a study that examined the overall perceptions, current knowledge, and gaps in a nursing curriculum as reported by undergraduate nursing students. The study offers insight into caring for those impacted by adoption.
