Susan A. Salladay, PhD, RN, is Professor of Nursing at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. She teaches nursing ethics and mental health nursing. In addition to preparing this column in JCN, Susan writes a monthly column on ethical problems for Nursing magazine.

Marcia Kacho, BSN, RN, graduated from Cedarville University in 1985 and is currently completing her MSN at Liberty University. She serves as an adjunct faculty member at Cedarville University teaching maternal/child health.
