ABSTRACT: Christian faith supports the idea that God is always at work in the world. God invites people into relationship with him and then to join in his work. Three nurses relay supernatural events where God worked in and through their nursing practice, reinforcing the understanding of what author Henry Blackaby calls experiencing God. Christian nurses are called to enter deeply into relationship with God.

Elizabeth B. Simon, PhD, ANP-BC, practices as an adult nurse practitioner. She has taught in academia for over 20 years, authored many publications and conference presentations, and received the 2015-16 Fulbright-Nehru Award for Academic Excellence.

Ryan Hodges, MSN, RN, is an emergency room nurse at a large trauma medical center, located in Los Angeles, California.

Kathy Schoonover-Shoffner, PhD, RN, is the National Director of Nurses Christian Fellowship USA and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Christian Nursing.
