ABSTRACT: Christian nurses need to carefully evaluate a given theory for fit with their worldview before embracing it for use in professional practice. Evaluation of Transformative Learning Theory, from a Christian nurse's perspective through a biblical lens, reveals how this theory complements truths found in Scripture, in particular Romans 12:2.

For Christian nurses, evaluating theories and interventions for compatibility with truths found in Scripture is essential.
