David Mallott, MD received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Following a residency in Psychiatry at Tulane, he joined the Tulane faculty and served as Associate Residency Training Director from 1983-1986. In 1986 Dr. Mallott joined the faculty of the University of Maryland with a primary emphasis on education. He served as Director of Medical Student Education within the Department of Psychiatry and, in 1997, assumed the role of Associate Dean for Medical Education for the School of Medicine. He held this post until February of 2020. He currently is Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry and continues to teach and supervise both residents and medical students.
