Mr Barabas, DHA, BS, has been a hospital executive for more than 20 years. He is the Chief Operation Officer of Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, Pa, and is a member of the Editorial Board of JONA’s Healthcare Law, Ethics, and Regulation. His “Lighter Side” experience as a patient has provided him with a renewed sense of patient empathy, especially for those who are not well versed in healthcare delivery.
