The shortage of registered nurses is an impetus to market nursing services effectively and efficiently. During focus group sessions, the perceptions of registered nurses were obtained. The result was the development of specific criteria used to assess hospital Web sites. Magnet and nonmagnet hospital Web sites were evaluated using the nursing Web image assessment criteria. The author discusses the findings and their implications.
