You probably have noticed by now that Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (JOEM) has a new cover design. As another part of recognizing and celebrating the 60th anniversary of the journal, it felt appropriate to put a new face forward for the journal, especially, as it has been almost a decade since the last cover change. More seriously, this also reflects the ways in which the field of occupational and environmental medicine and the journal have evolved in recent years. As the field has become increasingly global in its perspective and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) has expanded its outreach to partner societies around the world, the content of the journal has also increasingly encompassed articles from a growing list of countries and almost every continent (except Antarctica). In addition, JOEM has significantly increased its social media presence and its online content allowing for improved visibility and accessibility to advances in the field for a global audience. We hope that these changes will help to attract and engage a wider readership and appeal to the next generation of ACOEM members and occupational and environmental medicine practitioners everywhere. In the years ahead, we will continue to work to improve the journal, and, as always, we welcome your suggestions as to how we can meet your evolving needs in this process.
