The New England College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (NECOEM), an ACOEM component society, and the Massachusetts Association of Occupational Health Nurses (MaAOHN) will present their annual conference on November 29–30, 2018 at the Boston Newton Marriott Hotel, Newton, Mass. The theme of the conference is “The Future is Now: Challenges and Opportunities in OEM.”

Topics presented will be disaster preparedness and response; technology and occupational health; hip injuries, evaluation and treatment of shoulder impairment; the opioid crisis; drugs of impairment; spine and disorders; infectious diseases; telemedicine; mental health disabilities in the workplace among others. The Center for Occupational and Environmental Health, Department of Medicine, University of California, San Francisco will present “Vulnerable Workers and Communities at Environmental Risk and Updates in Occupational and Environmental Medicine” March 14–16, 2019, at the new Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco Marriott. The 2019 “American Occupational Health Conference (AOHC)” will be held April 28-May 1 (Sunday to Wednesday) at the Disneyland ® Hotel in Anaheim, Calif. AOHC is the annual meeting of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

Conference highlights will include the Exhibit Hall Opening Reception, the Opening General Session and the Sappington Lecture. Exhibits, poster sessions, and pre- and post-conference course offerings will augment the meeting.
