Clinical Significance: Properly organized care can reduce the vast economic burden of back pain. Data from this large observational study indicates that the redesigned back pain care pathway, offering first visit to physiotherapist, may shorten sick absence, decrease healthcare utilization and result in high patient satisfaction.
