2018 ESC/ESH Guidelines for the management of arterial hypertension

ERRATUM

In this article [1], there are mistakes on pages 1961, 1990 and in Tables 29 and 32 as follows:

On page 1961 right column fourth line from the top, URL link to the Systematic Coronary Risk Evaluation (SCORE) system should be, http://www.escardio.org/Guidelines-&-Education/Practice-tools/CVD-prevention-toolbox/SCORE-Risk-Charts

On page 1990, point 7.5.2.4 last paragraph line 12, ‘The ESC Guidelines for the management of myocardial infarction have recommended polypill use to improve long-term adherence to prescribed therapy (class IIa, level B) [353]’ should read ‘The ESC Guidelines for the management of myocardial infarction suggest that the use of the polypill may be considered to improve long-term adherence to prescribed therapy (class IIb, level B) [353]’.

On page 1999, Table 29 Phenotype column third line from the top, Hypokalaemia should be Hyperkalaemia.

On page 2001, Table 32 in dose column of Fenoldopam, ‘0.1 μg/kg/min i.v. infusion, increase every 15 min until goal BP is reached with 0.05 to 0.1 μg/kg/min increments’ should read, ‘0.1 μg/kg/min i.v. infusion, increase every 15 min with 0.05 to 0.1 μg/kg/min increments until goal BP is reached’.

On page 2024 left column in ESH Council section line 4 from the top, last name of a council member was incorrectly listed as Januszewics. Correct name should read, ‘Andrzej Januszewicz’
