Moreover, the criteria, including imaging parameters for the decision to treat invasively renal artery stenosis or not will be outlined. 2) New technology developments are on the horizon that may enter in the near future the clinical field in order to improve the management of hypertensive patients. In particular, imaging the gidney and the renal perfusion by magnetresonanzimaging (MRI) will be discussed in detail, with its perspective for clinical research purposes as well as for clinicla apllication.
