Dr. Scott is a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Health and Social Science Research at CQUniversity Australia. His research focuses on developing interventions, which promote mental health professionals to consistently and effectively assess and treat risk factors for poor physical health amongst consumers with serious mental illnesses.
Mr. Platania-Phung is a Research Fellow at the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the Institute for Health and Social Science Research at CQUniversity Australia. He is currently completing a PhD on relationships between social position, lifestyle patterns and health that will be of practical value in understanding everyday practices, inequality, and ethical issues with respect to health promotion.
Professor Happell is Professor of Contemporary Nursing at the School of Nursing and Midwifery and Director of the Institute of Health and Social Science Research at CQUniversity Australia. Professor Happell's research interests include promotion of the role of mental health nurses in physical health care of consumers. She is the Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Mental Health Nursing, Associate Editor of Issues in Mental Health Nursing, Fellow of the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses, and a consultant to the WHO.
