​The mission of the society is to be the pioneer society at the local, regional, national and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) level.

This is a scientific society to promote, improve, and bring the field of family and community medicine and primary healthcare at par with international standards through organizing conferences and seminars, and research, and contributing in the establishment of health policies at the local, national, and GCC level, and to raise health awareness in the community through social participations and building active partnerships with stakeholders.
