Discussion

Granulosis rubra nasi is a rare disorder of the eccrine glands that is considered a focal form of hyperhidrosis 1,2. The condition carries an autosomal dominant trait of inheritance and commonly subsides around puberty, but persistence may occur 1,2.

Granulosis rubra nasi presents with excess sweating localized over the tip of the nose. With time, erythema, papules, vesicles, and telangiectasia may develop over the nose, cheeks, and upper lips 3.
