Each year the Editorial Board of Journal of Craniofacial Surgery awards one article special recognition as the best paper to have been published in the journal in the previous year. The lead authors of these papers receive certificate from the Editor and Publisher along with a copy of a relevant text from Wolters Kluwer. To continue recognizing the selected papers in perpetuity, the Editor has brought all of them together in this collection, from the first paper awarded for 1995 through to the most recent selection for 2014.
