WORLD CONGRESS OF GASTROENTEROLOGY (WCOG) 2021—JOIN US!
WGO looks forward to welcoming you to the WCOG, the premier global biennial scientific meeting for digestive diseases! The World Congress will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from December 12-15, 2021. In partnership with the Emirates Gastroenterology and Hepatology Society (EGHS), this congress will feature a top-class scientific program encompassing key areas in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, GI Endoscopy, and Surgery delivered by over 100 regional and international leaders in the field. Concurrent sessions will be delivered daily, with hands-on workshops, oral, and poster presentations, and exhibitions. This meeting will provide an opportunity for professionals in the field of gastroenterology, hepatology, and related disciplines to come together to learn about the latest research and advancements, collaborate with colleagues, and actively participate in this rapidly advancing field.

WGO ANNOUNCES THE THEME FOR WORLD DIGESTIVE HEALTH DAY (WDHD) 2021!
The WDHD theme for 2021 is Obesity, led by Co-Chairs Lilian Kow, PhD (Australia), Reem Sharaiha, MD (United States), and James Toouli, MD (Australia), along with the WDHD 2021 Steering Committee. WGO calls on its Member Societies, Regional Affiliates, and partner organizations to organize events to raise awareness around the 2021 theme.
