WDHD 2017—Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

The WGO Handbook on IBD is available for download! Explore chapters written from various, globally diverse, expert perspectives that present an ample view of the diagnosis and management of IBD throughout the world! Visit the WDHD 2017 Tools and Resources page at: www.worldgastroenterology.org/wgo-foundation/wdhd/wdhd-2017/tools-and-resources to view and download your copy of the e-publication today!

While you are there, download other WDHD 2017 tools and resources including the “Aims of the Campaign,” “10 Tips for People Living with IBD,” and “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on IBD for Physicians.”

To complement the WDHD 2017 campaign, also available for viewing and download is the recently updated WGO Global Guideline and Cascade on IBD.

As always, WGO invites you to share summaries and photos from your WDHD 2017 event. These will be featured on the WGO website and in future issues of e-WGN, as well as promoted using social media. WGO welcomes all feedback on the success of your event and how we can best support your efforts in the future. We greatly appreciate all participation in the WDHD 2017 campaign!

WDHD 2018—Viral Hepatitis, B and C

The theme for WDHD 2018, led by Co-Chairs Prof. Yun-Fan Liaw (Taiwan) and Prof. Brian McMahon (USA), will focus on Viral Hepatitis, B and C—Lift the Global Burden! Watch www.worldgastroenterology.org/wgo-foundation/wdhd and WGO publications, such as e-WGN and the e-Alert, as more information, tools, and resources become available in the coming weeks!

WGO encourages you to take action and organize your own event to raise global awareness and advocate for Viral Hepatitis, B and C in 2018. We look forward to work with our Member Societies, Regional Affiliate Associations, Training Centers, and all other global partners on a productive and successful campaign!
