Dr. Barrett: Casual Research Fellow with the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at The University of Melbourne. Her recent research has focused on medical teachers and on medical students' interactions with both patients and teachers. Prof. Yates: Foundation Professor of Curriculum and was formerly the Pro Vice Chancellor Research at the University of Melbourne. Her current research includes theoretical and empirical projects related to knowledge, identities, inequalities, and education policy and practice in Australia. Prof. McColl: Head of the Melbourne Medical School and Professor of Medical Education and Training. He led the development and implementation of the new Melbourne MD. His research interests include the teaching and assessment of medical students' diagnostic reasoning skills.
