Summary
Dr. Lee is an Emeritus Consultant in the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics at the National University Hospital and Senior Consultant in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Singapore. He is a member of the International Pediatric Orthopaedic Think Tank (IPOTT) and is the current President of the ASEAN Paediatric Orthopaedic Society. He specializes in the management of orthopaedic problems in children. His research interests are in stem cell biology and musculoskeletal tissue engineering, especially for cartilage and physeal repair and regeneration. He was made a Fellow of International Orthopaedic Research by the International Combined Orthopaedic Research Societies in 2019.

Dr. Richards is a Surgeon-in-Chief Emeritus at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Vice Chair – Clinical of the University of Toronto Department of Surgery, Chair of the Awards and Internal Evaluation Committees and Past Secretary-Treasurer of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons. Dr. Richards is a member of the Ontario, Canadian and American Orthopaedic Associations and is a Past-President of the Canadian and Ontario Orthopaedic Associations. Dr. Richards maintains an active practice focusing on arthroplasty of the shoulder and elbow, upper extremity reconstruction following trauma, soft tissue procedures to control joint instabilities in the upper extremity, and the surgical treatment of irreparable brachial plexus injury.
