The Journal publishes corrections when they are of significance to patient care, scientific data or record-keeping, or authorship, whether that error was made by an author, editor, or staff. Errata also appear in the online version and are attached to files downloaded from jbjs.org.

In the article entitled “Current Concepts Review: Complications of Shoulder Arthroplasty” (J Bone Joint Surg Am. 2017 Feb 1;99[3]:), by Bohsali et al., there was an error on page 256. Specifically, the sentence that had read “The current analysis revealed a total of 19,262 TSAs and RSAs at a mean follow-up of 40.3 months in 122 studies, with an overall complication rate of 7.4% (2,122 complications)3-124” should have read “The current analysis revealed a total of 19,262 TSAs and RSAs at a mean follow-up of 40.3 months in 122 studies, with an overall complication rate of 11% (2,122 complications)3-124.”
