Ultrasonic Decalcification of Bone

Ultrasound passed into an acid decalcifying medium considerably accelerates the speed of decalcification of bone-tissue blocks without histological damage as compared with control specimens. All of our bone specimens, representing a variety of pathological conditions as well as normal bone, were decalcified within twelve and a half hours.
