Amelia Duran-Stanton is chief of the Ready and Resilient Branch and deputy surgeon at the US Army's Installation Management Command at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston in Texas. She also serves as the US Surgeon General's deputy PA consultant. Renee E. Cole is director of the US Army/Baylor University graduate program in nutrition at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston and is a research consultant to the chief of the Army Medical Specialist Corps.
