The AAOS offers a variety of online education programs designed to help you fulfill your MOC requirements and improve your practice. When you complete and claim your CME, the AAOS Learning Portfolio helps you track all of your credits earned through Academy programs, and manage your MOC progress.

AAOS physician volunteers and staff will continue to collaborate to offer you a broader range of high-quality, easy-to-access online CME programs. The AAOS now offers six self-assessment examinations based upon JAAOS issues from the past four years.

Credits earned by completing each 100-question examination can be applied to the scored and recorded self-assessment requirements as mandated by the ABOS Maintenance of Certification (MOC™) process and will count toward the CME credit requirement, as well.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons designates this enduring material for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

The AAOS is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
