Abstract

Erratum

In the article entitled “Evaluation of Reconstruction Windows for Multislice Computed Tomography in Quantification of Coronary Calcium” (Invest Radiol. 2003;38:108–118) by Gerber et al, the paragraph “Computed Tomography—Data Acquisition” read: After acquisition of a scout view, the chest was scanned during an inspiratory breath hold from above the left main coronary artery to below the diaphragmatic surface of the heart in 4 parallel slices with a gantry rotation time of 500 milliseconds and a pitch of 1.5. The collimation was 2.5 mm, and the tube current was 133 mAs at 140 kV.

It should have read: After acquisition of a scout view, the chest was scanned during an inspiratory breath hold from above the left main coronary artery to below the diaphragmatic surface of the heart in 4 parallel slices with a gantry rotation time of 500 milliseconds and a pitch of 0.375. The collimation was 2.5 mm, and the effective mAs was 133 (actual mAs, 50) at 120 kV. The Publisher apologizes for these errors. Gerber TC, O’Brien PC, Pastor KJ, et al.
