Kimberly Parker provides a video commentary on a JBI Best Practice Implementation Project - titled: Promotion of sleep and rest among hospitalized pediatric patient.

Kimberley Parker currently works as a Virtual Quality Nurse Consultant for Kaiser Permanente Northern California Regional office, within the Virtual Quality Team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from University of California Davis, and a master’s degree in nursing from Samuel Merritt University. Kimberly has worked as a nurse for 20 years, at the bedside in med/surg, periop, and critical care trauma/neuro surgical units. She is most proud of her work with Kaiser South Sacramento as part of their Implementation Unit, which established Kaiser’s first Level II trauma center. Kimberly was also on the team that expanded the intensive care unit from two small units to four large state of the art intensive care units. While at Kaiser South Sacramento, Kimberly held many different positions in education, quality and leadership. She has also taught for two different nursing schools and finds nurse education to be very rewarding. When not working, Kimberly enjoy spending time with her husband and three young children, vacationing by the beach, swimming, and riding bikes.
