International Journal of Dermatology and Venerology intends to provide international clinicians and researchers with an open forum, further to disseminate important/new information and promote academic communications in all aspects of dermatology and venereology, including epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin disorders. Manuscripts with clinical and public health implications and manuscripts with innovative ideas and/or approaches that bridge different fields are considered with priority.
The Journal is both sponsored by Hospital for Skin Diseases (Institute of Dermatology), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College (hereinafter, the "Hospital"), and Chinese Medical Association. The Hospital is also functionally acting as the National Center for STD Control and National Center for Leprosy Control, World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center for Prevention and Control of STDs, the Medical Mycology Center of the China Committee for Culture Collection of Microorganisms (CCCCM) . Chinese Medical Association is the top medical association in China, and has the biggest medical publish group. The sponsors provide the Journal adequate academic and technical support.
