The journal is currently running a Special Issue entitled "Genetic Association Studies in Psoriasis". The Dr. Song-Mei Geng, who is from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, is serving as Guest Chief Editor for this issue.

Genetic association studies in psoriasis has made many breakthroughs in recent years, especially the development of biological agents, bringing hope for treatment of refractory psoriasis, including comorbid diseases. In this special issue, IJDV aims to publish meaningful research, in-depth narrative reviews on genetic association studies in psoriasis, and descriptions of innovations in the diagnosis and treatment in this area.

All submitted manuscripts will undergo standard peer review process. Accepted papers will be published with APC fee waived. The submission deadline is June 30, 2022. Submission channel is open now till the deadline. Submitted papers should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Please see below submission instructions:

Introduction of the Journal:

IJDV is an open access and strictly peer reviewed online and print journal. IJDV intends to provide international clinicians and researchers with an open forum, further to disseminate important/new information and promote academic communications in all aspects of dermatology and venereology. Manuscripts with clinical and public health implications and manuscripts with innovative ideas and/or approaches that bridge different fields are considered with priority. IJDV has been indexed international authoritative database, including Scopus, DOAJ, Embase, and already has a large international readership over 75%.

The Journal is both sponsored by Hospital for Skin Diseases (Institute of Dermatology), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College (hereinafter, the “Hospital"), and Chinese Medical Association. The Hospital is also functionally acting as the National Center for STD Control and National Center for Leprosy Control, World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center for Prevention and Control of STDs, the Medical Mycology Center of the China Committee for Culture Collection of Microorganisms (CCCCM) . Chinese Medical Association is the top medical association in China, and has the biggest medical publish group. The sponsors provide the Journal adequate academic and technical support.

IJDV has been internationally published by Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc., which is the top medical publisher in the world, and the full text of articles published on IJDV is globally open accessed.
