Indian Dermatology Online Journal (IDOJ) is a bimonthly open access print journal of Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL). It is available as print and online editions. It was introduced with main objective to
showcase clinical dermatology from India and all over the world. All submissions are subject to peer review by the editorial board
and the referees in the appropriate speciality or areas of interest. This journal welcomes articles from across the globe but
specially encourages articles on pure clinical dermatology . We aim to encourage writing and publishing in the fond hope of
sensitising dermatologists in India and the rest of the world to the importance of documentation. Keeping in mind the spirit of the
journal and its raison d’etre of encouraging sharing of dermatology in India, this journal is steadily growing in its stature, contents
and readership. We invite you to showcase your writing, experiences and work in this journal that will exhibit great promise in

Open Access Publication and Creative Commons Licensing
This is an open access journal, and articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 License, which allows others to remix, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given and the new creations are licensed under the identical terms. The journal doesn’t charge any processing fees during any stage of the manuscript submission to publication. It is supported by academic grant from the parent organisation IADVL. Reprints of published manuscripts or issues are available from the publisher. Subscriptions are welcome and the charges are prescribed by the publisher and may be revised periodically.
Wolters Kluwer Medknow provides for long-term digital preservation through two primary partnerships, Portico and CLOCKSS.
Portico is a leading digital preservation service worldwide. The content is preserved as an archival version and is not publicly accessible via Portico, but is provided when required under specific conditions, such as discontinuation of the collection or catastrophic failure of the website.
CLOCKSS will enable any library to maintain their own archive of content from Wolters Kluwer Medknow and other publishers, with minimal technical effort and using cheaply available hardware.
Articles published online under the Ahead of Print model are considered published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source. Wolters Kluwer Medknow has a policy that changes will not be made after publication of an article without following accepted procedures for making corrections to the scientific record. We strive to make all manuscripts published AOP to avoid the inadvertent wait to include in an issue per se to see your valuable manuscript in the publication format.
While advertisements are crucial to this journal to be able to keep all content free for everyone, ethical considerations are in place to ensure the integrity of the journal and its content:
• "Pop-up" and "banner" ads appear on a random, rotating basis. The advertiser has no control or input over the pages where their ads appear.
• The Editorial Board has full and final approval authority over the content of all advertisements in the print edition or the website of the journal.
• Advertisers will not have access to any manuscripts or other content in any stage prior to publication in an issue.
