The July issue of Health Physics contains the abstracts for the 68th Annual Health Physics Society Meeting, 23-27 July in National Harbor, Maryland. Please accept this invitation from me to attend this meeting and make it a point to stop by the Publications booth in the exhibit hall. Mary Gene Ryan (the journal's Managing Editor), Deanna Baker (the journal's Editorial Assistant), and I will all be there to greet you. We would love to answer your questions about publishing your work in the journal, thank you for work you have already published, and reconnect with old friends. You will also be able to talk to the Health Physics News and website folks (Barbara Hamrick and Mary Walchuk).
We are especially thankful for the chance to talk with all of you face-to-face in this post-COVID era. I think there are two things that make the Health Physics journal stand out: first is the effort Mary Gene and Deanna make to work alongside our authors and guide them through the sometimes daunting publication process, and second is the warm relationships we have with our authors.
