Amber Harshman is a health physics PhD candidate at Colorado State University. She earned her master’s degree in radiation health physics from Oregon State University and her bachelor’s degree in physics and astronomy from The Ohio State University. Prior to starting her PhD program, Amber worked for five years as a health physicist for Exelon Generation at Dresden Nuclear Station in Morris, Illinois. She is certified in the comprehensive practice of health physics by the American Board of Health Physics. She is from Columbus, Ohio.
