Salpingo-oophorectomy by transvaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES).

The following footage demonstrates a technique to perform a salpingo-oophorectomy by natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES). A single port is placed in the vagina and after achieving pneumoperitoneum, an endoscope is introduced to survey the abdomen and pelvis. The salpingo-oophorectomy is then completed under direct visualization by using conventional laparoscopic instruments through the vaginal port. Video created by Karl Jallad. Used with permission.
