Raquel Christie, Editorial Assistant
Raquel Christie, Editorial Assistant
This month, we are pleased to welcome Stephanie Casway as our new production editor.
Stephanie comes to Obstetrics & Gynecology from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ Publications Department, where she was an editorial assistant/permissions editor. She began working for the College in August 2008. Prior to that, she studied Communication at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. Last year, she received her master’s degree in Health Communication from Johns Hopkins University, where her thesis explored contraception myth and its connection to unplanned pregnancy in young women.
As production editor, Stephanie is in charge of editing all the figures and supplemental digital content published in Obstetrics & Gynecology, as well as communicating with authors on how to best present their findings visually.
“I’m passionate about the field of women’s health, and I’m excited to join such a wonderful team,” Stephanie says.
We’re thrilled to have you, Stephanie! For any artwork or figure queries, you can e-mail Stephanie at
