It’s late February, and that means it’s time for Obstetrics & Gynecology team to flock to warmer climes! This weekend, we’re headed to beautiful Sarasota, Florida, to kick off our annual Editorial Board Meeting.
From February 23 to 25, the editors and staff members of Obstetrics & Gynecology will collaborate with the Editorial Board members to reflect on the past year at Obstetrics & Gynecology and discuss ideas for the future. This will be the first Editorial Board Meeting officially headed by our new team of editors – Drs. Nancy Chescheir, William Hurd, and Dwight Rouse -- who took the reins last July. Several new Editorial Board members -- Drs. Fergal Malone, Mary Norton, Marc Jackson, and Kimberly Kenton -- will attend the meeting for the first time, as well.
Journal staff will be out of the office and will return on Thursday, February 27. While we’re away, feel free to submit new manuscripts online through our Editorial Manager web site. Our Instructions for Authors is pretty handy if you have any questions about content or format, and if you need a form or checklist, you might browse through our “Files and Resources” on the Editorial Manager homepage. Previous Friday FAQs blog entries might also have helpful answers.
Also, don’t forget to check out the March 2014 issue, which is now live online at (you can also download the issue to your iPad via the Green Journal iPad app).
The College remains open during normal business hours, so if you have any membership inquiries or general College-related questions, please call (202) 863-2427.
See you soon!
