In “Committee Opinion No. 750: Perioperative Pathways: Enhanced Recovery After Surgery” from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists,1 there is an error in Table 1, Components Which May Be Considered in the Design and Implementation of an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Program. On page e123, first row (“Diet”), second column (“Intervention”), the fifth bulleted point that reads, “Osmotic diuretics: Senna and docusate sodium; magnesium oxide; magnesium hydroxide as needed” is incorrect and should read, “Osmotic diarrhetics: senna and docusate sodium; magnesium oxide; magnesium hydroxide as needed.”
