Risk of Occult Uterine Sarcoma in Women Undergoing Hysterectomy for Benign Indications

There was an incorrect statement in “Risk of Occult Uterine Sarcoma in Women Undergoing Hysterectomy for Benign Indications”1 by Kho et al (Obset Gynecol 2016;127:468–73). In the Précis statement in the Table of Contents, the incorrect sentence is, “The frequency of occult uterine sarcoma in women undergoing hysterectomy for benign indications at our institution is 0.89% or 1:1,124, lower than previously reported.” The correct sentence is, “The frequency of occult uterine sarcoma in women undergoing hysterectomy for benign indications at our institution is 0.089% or 1:1,124, lower than previously reported.” This rate is correctly reported in the body of the article. The authors regret the error.
