Pregnancy Following Oral Contraceptive Therapy

Abstract

There was no significantly different outcome of pregnancy among 442 patients who became pregnant following cessation of the use of oral contraceptives, when compared to the pregnancies of a similar series of 699 patients who had employed other contraceptive measures. An ancillary observation noted that 608 (53%) of the total of 1141 gravidas had not planned to become pregnant; yet, three-fourths of them had not employed any form of conception control.
