The anticipated secretory differentiative alterations of the progesterone-stimulated explants took place irrespective of the cycle day of origin of the endometrium, and were associated with augmented alkaline phosphatase activity of the glandular cells. © 1969 The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
