European Journal of Cancer Prevention is the official journal of the European Cancer Prevention Organization.
The Aim of the Organization
- The overall aim of ECP is to develop the methods to be able to decrease the incidence of cancer in Europe by preventive measures.
- In addition, it acts within Europe as an extra source of independent and authoritative information on cancer causation and prevention for government, health professionals and the media.
European Cancer Prevention Organization was established in 1981 to promote collaboration between scientists working in the various European countries and to use the large population of Europe and their wide range of lifestyles as a laboratory for the study of cancer causation.
