To the Editor:
I am writing in response to the review1 of my book (Child Health and the Environment ) by Matthew Longnecker in the November 2003 issue of Epidemiology . As noted by Dr. Longnecker, the chapter summaries do not allow the reader easily to locate the relevant citations for the epidemiologic evidence for various associations. The last chapter, however, includes a reference to a web site where the interested reader can obtain such information. The web site is a work-in-progress and currently has detailed tables for the first few subject-area chapters. The link to the web site is www.mclaughlincentre.ca . Users should click on the “Additional information” link beside the picture of the book cover.
