New Imaging Technology

eMagin Corporation, a virtual imaging company and manufacturer of organic light emitting diode (OLED) microdisplays, has created virtual imaging devices that can provide critical information on the move or in compact packages for medical responders. The microdisplay technology can be used in goggles and glasses to provide EPs and EMTs with critical vital sign data and medical history at the scene of an incident and during triage and transport of a patient.

Data can be presented using virtual imaging applications that provide immersive and high-definition diagnostic imagery in the responders’ vision keeping their hands free to perform any necessary procedure. Additional details are available at www.emagin.com.
