doi: 10.1097/01.EEM.0000490528.07011.b4

No light entered the room. I had a white noise machine to block all extraneous noise. I slept in a water bed to prevent waking from pressure on an arm or leg or side. Lastly, I always ate breakfast before going to sleep, so I wouldn't wake up from hunger.
