I am sure that candidates for the European Academy of Anaesthesiology's Diploma in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care would not wish to shoot the examiners. In October 2000, the Examination Committee met in London to set the Multiple Choice Questions for the forthcoming Part 1 examination. This occasion provided the Editor-in-Chief of the EJA (he is also, incidentally, a member of the examination committee), who almost always carries a camera, to make a photoshoot. The committee members (faces) are, as seated, from left to right: Fernando Gilsanz (Madrid), Elizabeth Van Gessel (Geneva), Thomas Pasch (ZĂ¼rich), Jean-Pierre Haberer (Paris), Eric Buchser (Morges, Switzerland), Peter Simpson (Bristol, UK and Chairman of the Examination Committee), David Cochrane (Bristol, UK), Michael Bodelsson (Lund, Sweden), Anne Hunting (Oslo), Lars Wiklund (Uppsala), Zeev Goldik (Haifa) and Julius Neumark (Vienna).
