In our article,1 we wrote that, in the cardiovascular setting, the European Society of Anaesthesiology has recommended the administration of fibrinogen concentrate to maintain a plasma fibrinogen concentration of 3.8 g · l−1. This is a mistake, the European Society of Anaesthesiology2 recommended to maintain fibrinogen level above 1.5 – 2.0 g · l−1. We apologise for the error.
