I'm not the sun; oh yes, maybe I'm a sunflower,
Finitely I exist, not to shine on and on forever,
From dark soil, as I bring out the bright fine color,
It is not for me, the sun has given me this miracle power,
Like the sun up there, many lights to shine in my life,
My dad–my first sun, mom–my loving moon,
Being born to them, a blessing, a boon,
Teachers are my sun, patients are the kind moon,
The warmth of their light, makes me brightly swoon,
I feel happy just to exist this way in the vast universe,
In the midst of infinite life, so enchantingly diverse,
With happiness as my fragrance, smile my style,
May life go on, humble, grateful, all the while!
