The Academy of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy – APTA serves its members and the physical therapy profession by promoting the development, application and advancement of cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy practice, education and research.

The Academy of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy – APTA​ will be the leading advocate and resource for consumers as well as physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and PT/PTA students who provide health, wellness, prevention and/or rehabilitation services in a variety of practice settings to individuals of all ages at risk for, or diagnosed with, cardiovascular or pulmonary impairments.
