In the August 2022 issue of Continuum (Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders, Vol. 28, No. 4), the following error occurred:

In table 7-1 of “Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorders” by Fiona Costello, MD, FRCPC (Continuum: Lifelong Learning in Neurology 2022;28:1136), the clinical features for area postrema syndrome required further revision; the text should have been “Area postrema syndrome is characterized by persistent nausea, vomiting, and hiccups9 and may be initially misdiagnosed as a primary gastrointestinal syndrome, causing treatment delay.” A portion of the table is shown below with the correct text in the area postrema syndrome row:

Costello F. Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders. Continuum (Minneap Minn) 2022;28(4, Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders):1131-1170. doi:10.1212/CON.0000000000001168.
