Discussion of two treatment efficacy review articles allows for a comprehensive view of the state of voice treatment effectiveness. Relevant literature has grown in number and sophistication such that clinicians can be optimistic about the real benefits provided to their patients. Review of current literature related to behavioral, medical, and surgical therapy justifies that confidence.
