There is an error in the first sentence of the introduction to ‘Protein is an important but undervalued macronutrient in the nutritional care of patients with cystic fibrosis’ ^[1]. The sentence states that, ‘Cystic fibrosis (CF) is the most common life-threatening autosomal recessive disease affecting about 1 in 32 000 live births in Caucasians in the USA’.

The correct sentence should read, ‘Cystic fibrosis (CF) is the most common life-threatening autosomal recessive disease affecting about 1 in 3200 live births in Caucasians in the USA’.
